2009 was a very successful year of SpicMacay Saharanpur Chapter.We had done 22 programmes including four workshops of Mr Anis Siddiqi (calligraphy),Mrs Saroja Baidyanathan (Bharatnatyam),Mrs Nandini Singh(Kathak)and Ms Mahua Shanker(kathak), these are maximum programme ever in the history of Saharanpur like small city of UP ‘A’ group.
In Our group total 45 programme were organised with 13 Artists like SinghJeet Singh & Charu Mathur, Geeta mahalik,Ranjan gauhar,Nandini Singh, Rajender Prassana ,Ahmed Warsi,Kalamandalam Gopi,Sudip Gupta,Kalapini Komkali, Rajender Gangani ,Bhajan Sapori programmes came in Saharnpur,Meerut and Muzaffarnagar.We Celebrated World dance day with Ms Mahua Shankar ji’s workshop in,Muzaffarnagar 5 days,Roorkee 4 days and Saharanpur 5 days.There were three Workshops and three Performences.It was really a great contribution of Ms Mahua Ji to our chapters she gave lot of time to students .Students were very happy and attached with her. Accompanist were Ms Nupur Shanker(padant),Gulam Waris(Vocal),Salman Khan(Tabla).
